Our family has always had pets - usually cats and dogs, but sometimes a bit more exotic (like the bushbaby that my parents inherited many years ago - I still remember him getting stuck inside kitchen cupboards during his nocturnal roaming!). Arriving in Thailand back in 2003, I was quite overwhelmed by the number of street animals around and have volunteered as a photographer for several animal welfare groups here and in other parts of the world. This experience has been invaluable in honing the skills of animal portraiture. It's quite different from people portraiture (though may be not so different from young children!). I love to photograph animals, both domestic and in the wild.

I hope you enjoy my portfolio and if you would like a portrait of your favourite pet, do get in touch with 7-olivesphotography.
